Dr Lee is a Family Doctor currently assisting in COVID relief and supporting the community through her stellar knowledge of medicine. She is also the newest member of the doc on the block team.
Dr. Quaye earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa and subsequently completed his family medicine residency at Dalhousie University. His practice interests include emergency and hospitalist medicine and as such, he brings a breadth of medical experience to his family practice.
Dr. Quaye grew up in Ghana, West Africa. Growing up in a country with limited access to many health care services, he developed a passion for providing medical care to under serviced communities. He is very excited to join the team at doc on the block and provide exceptional patient care to the Toronto West community.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to different countries, playing and watching basketball and spending time with friends and family. Doctor Victor Quaye is now accepting patients at doc on the block.
Dr Sukerman earned his Medical Degree from Columbia Medical School in collaboration with Ben Gurion University of the Negev. He later went on to study an Internship in General Surgery at Tuffs Health Science Center in Boston before completing his Family Medicine training in Florida at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital before he ultimately returned to Canada to start his practice.
Since that time, he has been instrumental in creating the University of Toronto's Mississauga Academy of Medicine, where he has won on numerous occasions the University of Toronto Teacher of the Year Award for his dedication to developing new doctors, medical education in the Toronto Community, and for his role in the design of the clinical curriculum. Patients often comment on his talent for explaining complex medical elements in a seemingly attainable and simple way. His ongoing pursuit and willful sharing of knowledge runs deep and beyond his Medical Career as he was previously a High School Teacher and holds a Master's Degree in Education.
Dr Sukerman is the owner and founder of the doc on the block FHO Medical Centre. He is an avid cyclist, aspiring wildlife photographer, husband to Jacqueline, and father to two beautiful boys. He has a great passion for his profession. Dr Sukerman is loyal to each and everyone of his patients. Always seeking to collaborate with his patients, Dr Sukerman aims to place his patients in the drivers seat of their care while supporting and assisting the facilitation of that autonomous care path. His well established contributions to the Toronto medical community have afforded him a wide breadth of connections to top notch specialists in the GTA. From this extensive resource, Dr Sukerman is able to deliver timely access to an extensive network of care and core services to his patients.
Dr. Woo earned his Medical Degree from St. George's University in 2013. He then went on to complete his general internship at Weill Cornell Medical College's Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx. Following graduation, he further completed a Residency in Rural Family Medicine at University of Massachusetts Worcester in 2016.
Canadian born and raised, Dr. Woo has a passion towards Health Education and Preventative Medicine. He is a licensed family physician in both Canada and United States, and has strong ties in training medical residents, motivational interviewing, and health care improvement. Doctor Christopher Woo is now accepting patients at doc on the block.
Shelly is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Shelly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor degree in Education.
Shelly began her career working with children and families in 2000 before transitioning to the medical field as a hospital Staff Social Worker. Through her work in acute care, she gained experience across all domains of medicine, surgery, oncology and rehab.
Shelly has extensive psychotherapeutic experience in supporting individuals through chronic/acute illnesses, situational crises and life events. She has expertise in treating acquired brain injuries, maladaptive coping, stress tolerance, addictions, grief and mental health wellness. She offers supportive counselling, lifestyle coaching, case management and assistance with community resource engagement. Shelly utilizes a variety of approaches based on what best suits the client which include CBT/DBT, solution-focused, narrative and systems theories.
Dr. Crystal is a staff cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the Arrhythmia Services at the Schulich Heart Centre. He joined the Division of Cardiology in 2002. He is a founder of the Arrhythmia Services at Sunnybrook and he served as a Director of the services between 2010 and 2020.
Dr. Crystal is a Professor of Medicine at University of Toronto. He also serves as an Associate Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute, and the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, St Michael Hospital.
He is a Chairman of the National Ablation Committee (Canadian Heart Rhythm Society). He is the President of the Society For Cardiac Remote Navigation of Americas (SCRN-A), and President of Global SCRN. He is a board member of the World Society of Arrhythmia and a founding member of the European Cardiac Arrhythmia Society. He is also a board member of the Ontario Association of Cardiologists.
Dr. Crystal is the Chairman and Founder of the Winter Arrhythmia School, the largest Arrhythmia educational event in Canada.
His research interests are in ablation strategies for various cardiac arrhythmia, and in development of robotics and automation in ablation therapy, as well as in the optimization of arrhythmia device therapies. He authored and co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts in clinical and experimental cardiology. He holds numerous patents in the field of cardiology.
Currently, he is a Principal Investigator of DxAF trial (AF in ICD patients) and SPARTAC trial (sham ablation trial in SVT).
Dr. Crystal is a member of over 15 scientific committees of international Cardiac Electrophysiology congresses and a reviewer for numerous journals in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Crystal is co-appointed as Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist at Women's College Hospital
Ms Bitla is a trained pharmacist and a licensed phlebotomist with a post-graduate degree in healthcare administration. Her loyalty and dedication to hard work is second to none.
Since 2018, she has made doc on the block her focus, and for those patients who frequent the clinic for their healthcare needs they are her highest priority. Along with her impressive skill set and incredible attention to detail, Ms Bitla can speak three languages fluently.
Ms Bitla loves to travel. When on the go and while doing so, she seeks to make meaningful memories from each place she experiences. Gaining a glimpse of the genuine perspective of each place she ventures has proven to be outstanding for her. Her passion for photography and boxing help keep those travels well documented and herself safe.
Fueling these interests is a talent for cooking and baking, and a love of food in general. She is excellent with a needle and thread both in and out of the clinical setting and is proud of her extensive stamp collection.
Oleksandra Yermolchuk is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto. After majoring in neuroscience and cell and molecular biology, she decided that she wanted to enter the field of healthcare administration. She is hard working and dedicated to helping patients in the clinic with their healthcare needs.
From a journalist exploring the world and unveiling the truth of society, to a law clerk putting forward her valiant efforts to defend insurance claims on Bay Street, Jacqueline has finally found her new path and join the Health Sector. We at doc on the block are for sure glad that she made that career choice leap as our team has flourished greatly under her guidance and expertise.

Matthew Quattrociocchi is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist graduating from McMaster University with a degree in Kinesiology and completing post-graduate education in Pedorthics at the University of Western Ontario. Matt has been in practice since 2002 and takes great pride in providing truly custom solutions for each of his patients. In depth biomechanical assessments and hand crafted, truly custom, foot orthotics is what Matthew and his clinic, The Foot Company, have become known for.
Matt works with patients in an effort to get them back to full health and returning to the activities or work that they want to do. From children to seniors, safety boots to runners, plantar fasciitis to diabetes, Matthew works will all types of people in coming up with specific orthotic and footwear solutions.
As a foot-care professional and avid athlete, Matt’s knowledge and love of sports compliments and enhances his ability to treat the patients he sees each day. Matthew continues to stay active and visible in the community by offering education sessions to local groups on footwear and foot health and remains at the forefront of his field through his involvement in current research and studies involving footwear and orthotics. Matt takes an active role with the Pedorthic Association of Canada and is the Chair of a task force whose prime focus is pursuing regulated legislation for pedorthists in Ontario.
